Collectively we have helped educate consumers to create programs and portfolios to pursue long-term financial goals since 1995. If you have questions about investments, retirement, and/or the public employee system, we're here to help.
We start by clarifying our fee structure and explaining the different ways we can help. We listen to your goals and compare them to your current plan. We can share our experience so you can create the strategy to pursue your long term goals.
Together, we bring complementary types of experience and most of all share a strong commitment to ethics and integrity. We’re licensed and credentialed to offer impartial guidance.
My focus is providing comprehensive financial planning for individuals and couples with a focus on the planning needs of public employees.
As a former 20 year public employee and a past public retirement counselor, I have the background and knowledge to provide specialized analysis in seeking to improve opportunities for maximizing pensions and protecting loved ones.
I understand unique issues public employees face surrounding the interaction of public pensions with social security, Windfall Elimination Provision (WEP) and Government Pension Offset (GPO).
I believe developing a financial plan is the essential step toward meeting a retirement budget that keeps up with inflation while seeking to preserve assets.
I help people pursue their financial goals by providing solutions that may include investments or insurance.
I attended UMASS as an undergraduate and UCONN for graduate school and have been an independent financial advisor since 1995. My fee structure is either commission or fee based depending on the type of products required to implement a comprehensive plan as well as my client’s preferences. FINRA Broker Check
I am an independent insurance broker experienced in 403(b) tax-advantaged retirement savings plans, which are available to eligible public employees and certain 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations.
I started helping my husband John with various tasks in 2005 and later earned licenses with the Massachusetts Department of Insurance and State of Connecticut Insurance Department to sell disability, health, accident, long term care, universal, and whole life insurance, and fixed and fixed-indexed annuities.
I am a lifelong western Massachusetts resident and hold a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts. I am Certified in Long Term Care (CLTC) with the CLTC Board of Standards and appointed with numerous insurance carriers, and with Massachusetts Health Connector Business Express.
Together, we run an independent branch office just off Main Street in beautiful downtown Amherst and offer flexible hours by appointment during the day, evening and even weekends so we can meet everyone’s scheduling needs.
John and I live in Hadley and together love seven grown children in a grateful blended family, three grandchildren and one more grandchild on the way.
